Every accomplishment begins with the decision to try; hard work, dedication, and determination will surely lead to success! This couldn’t be more true for Barbara Briccotto. As the Director of Interiors in our Charlotte office, Barbara joined INTEC Group in 2013 as the 5th member of the Charlotte team. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in the continued success of the firm with the Charlotte office more than doubling in size since her arrival! Barbara enhances the human condition of everyone she meets and continues to strive for success in all she does; and these efforts aren’t going unnoticed!
Just three months into 2017, she has already received multiple recognition accolades for her contributions to her profession and to her community. As a Charlotte Business Journal’s Women in Business Award winner, Barbara was selected for this honor by a panel of judges, based on a combination of her inherent leadership skills and the absolute impact of her professional achievements.
Denise Hoffman, Project Designer at INTEC Group, said, “Barbara believes in the concept that the team is stronger than the individual and seeks to help all achieve their goals and potential. She is a deserving recipient of this year’s award.”
In addition, Barbara is also being recognized by The Mecklenburg Times as one of 2017’s 50 Most Influential Women. This award was created to acknowledge the important role women play in the economy and in society. Selected through a nomination process and judged by their peers, winners are chosen based on their positive influence in the greater Charlotte region.
John Mang, Managing Principal/Vice President of INTEC Group, shared, “Barbara brings a level of professionalism, authenticity, and leadership to our firm that is truly an inspiration to witness. With a focus on elevating our team and a personal commitment to excellence, she continuously pushes boundaries. We are proud to have her on our team.”
Currently, Barbara is taking on the new challenge of fund raising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man and Woman of the Year campaign. Her personal experiences and ability to connect to her coworkers and peers made her a perfect candidate to accept the ambitious challenge of raising as much money as possible on behalf of this life-changing organization – $50,000 in just 10 weeks. If anyone can do it, Barbara can! And she is certainly an inspiration to each of us.
Whether it’s spearheading internal initiatives to strengthen our firm’s brand and culture, focusing her business development efforts on opportunities to expand our success or further diversify our portfolio, or participating in events and outreach opportunities that allow her to give back to the community, Barbara’s efforts truly epitomize the INTEC Group spirit of what it means to enhance the human condition. She continuously goes above and beyond to distinguish herself amid those in our industry and community and we couldn’t be more proud to have her on our team.
So, from all of us at INTEC Group, thank you, Barbara. We can’t wait to support what you take on next!
