One of the nation’s largest defense contractors needed a new and distinctive business center to host foreign dignitaries and military leaders for international engagements. The space required a unique blend of international and traditional architectural styles to support a wide range of business functions. A key challenge was creating an environment that could accommodate the diverse needs, cultural practices, and expectations of high-profile global visitors—while also reflecting the contractor’s established, conservative brand identity.
INTEC Group responded by designing a 25,000 SF space that fused modern design trends with traditional architecture to form a flexible and adaptable business center. The concept and branding of the space were developed to mirror Lockheed’s stable heritage, technological advancement, and forward-looking global presence. To meet the cultural and functional requirements of international guests, the design included specialized features such as prayer rooms, conversation areas, and a variety of furniture configurations to support different meeting formats. The final environment successfully balanced cultural sensitivity with corporate branding, offering a sophisticated setting aligned with the expectations of the defense contractor’s executive leadership and global clientele.
