Kevin Link, AIA

Senior Project Manager – Fairfax Office

Kevin Link is a Senior Project Manager in our Fairfax office where he oversees all aspects of a project – from the design and development phases to the construction documents and ultimately the built environment. Kevin values his role as a communicator between the design team and his clients; he keeps everyone informed along the way. He prides himself on paying attention to the details while still staying focused on the overall big picture.

Kevin started his career at INTEC Group as an intern during his undergraduate studies at Catholic University. He was mentored by a master of architecture at the firm, teaching him to build the project in his mind before putting pencil to paper. He was encouraged to work out details and understand that every line on the paper has purpose and meaning. Operating under a standard of care and striving for excellence with every project he is involved with has set the tone for his career. Kevin endeavors for perfection in the quality of the firm’s projects and is glad to be back at INTEC Group, where it all started.

Inspired by all aspects of architecture, Kevin loves the finished project and seeing it through from early conceptual napkin sketches to the ribbon cutting opening.

Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

In his spare time…

When Kevin isn’t spending time with family or golfing with friends, he returns to his roots as a carpenter, just recently finishing his sister’s timber framed cabin. Always pushing himself and others he works with to expand their knowledge, he enjoys continuing education focused on new materials, construction techniques, code requirements or even instruction manuals for finite details of bolt torque requirements.

If he wasn’t working in this industry, he would…

Return to his Iowa roots and be a gentleman farmer, raising corn and cattle like his grandfather.
