Michaela Murphy
Project Manager – Fairfax/DC Office
Michaela is a Project Manager in our Fairfax/DC office where she works with our interiors team to create solutions for our clients. She starts with listening to our clients’ needs, working on the schematic designs, and then relies on her technical skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to help our clients visualize what they can expect. Michaela is hands-on during the entire project process, which includes being onsite at the completion of the project to ensure everything was implemented correctly. One of her favorite parts about being at INTEC Group is working in a team setting. She enjoys listening to each person’s unique ideas and learning from her colleagues’ perspectives.
Michaela earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Anderson University in South Carolina. She looks to nature for inspiration; she finds the different colors, forms and textures translate well to design. While our clients appreciate the balance and creativity she brings to their projects, Michaela loves that she has the opportunity to positively affect their lives through her work.
In her spare time…
Michaela enjoys sewing and quilting for the small business she runs outside of her work at INTEC Group. She also sings and can play the bassoon and the piano.

Expand on her creative endeavors and start a longarm quilting business. Michaela could also see herself creating movie soundtracks in a symphonic orchestra.
